Viewing the Autumn theme is easy. Just log in on kiesler.at and select it from Control Panel - My Settings - My View. You can see the picture I used for the heading and footing, as well as the swatches, to the right.

To install it on your site, download it from the link on the last page of this article and put it in your themes directory. You will need to change the hrefs and img-srcs.

In case you'd like to tweak Autumn to your needs, the map to the left might come in handy. It's a sketch about the Autumn-layout, where you can find the layout-divs as well. For changing the colours, look in colours.css. For changin font-sizes, edit standard.css. And for changing the screen-layout, open layout_screen.css.

What about the graphics? Well, just upload a different header.jpg and footer.jpg. Make them 800 pixel wide and enter their height in #header and #footer in layout_screen.css

In case you'd like to do different layouts for, say, handhelds: Just copy layout_screen.css to maybe layout_handheld.css and add a reference to it in theme.tpl, with the corresponding media-selector. After tweaking layout_handheld.css, you will have the colours and font-sizes from the other css-files, which will save you a certain amount of work and ensures consistency.
